KING CREEK FARM

What is it about a big red barn that brings out the treasure seeker in all of us ?

This big red barn  is set at the crest of an idyllic family farm on Route 9 in Ware, Mass. owned by the Biskup family.

Sharon B. fills the very old rafters with all manner of antiques from collectibles to farm furnishings. The overflow is displayed in a tent right outside the door so shopping can be done rain or shine.

Great Pepsi  Fridge !

Sharon's talent for display is evident throughout...

The rustic flower bed !

This path leads to farm fields...wouldn't this be a perfect location for an antique show !

BRIMFIELD~JULY 2011

Not a bad day at all for July at the Brimfield Flea Market. It was hot but not unbearable. The buzz was that the crowds were smaller than desired and we heard some griping  but overall I would say it was par for the course for July.
Hertans field is always know for great country antiques and even tho we arrived on Friday we were lucky enough to see Nancy Bryer from Log Cabin Country Primitives.
Fabulous stuff and she couldn't have been more gracious when I asked to take some photos.
If you love country primitives ...Nirvana !

Country Antiques displayed beautifully in a room setting

Simple and uncluttered each piece stand on its own

More photos from Brimfield coming next week.....
